Apple promises that its refurbished products are thoroughly tested and cleaned
Apple has begun selling refurbished second-generation AirPods Pro headphones for the first time in select European countries, including the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Poland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium and Austria.
It's important to note that we're talking about the second-generation AirPods Pro with Lightning/MagSafe charging case, originally released in November 2022.
Apple updated the AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C/MagSafe case and some other changes in September 2023, but the model is not yet available in the Apple Store for refurbished items.
Refurbished AirPods Pro are discounted by approximately 15% compared to new headphones. Apple promises that all refurbished products undergo “full functional testing” and are “thoroughly cleaned and inspected.”
