Well-known insider Shpeshal_Nick reports that development of the battle royale game in the Halo universe has been discontinued.

The game was codenamed Project Tatanka and was developed in the dungeons of Certain Affinity , which is usually picked up by other studios like 343i, id Software or Raven Software.

Project Tatanka was reportedly originally planned as a simple battle royale mode for Halo Infinity, but later it was decided to release the game as an independent project.
