It will retain the camera set from the Pixel 7a

Google will continue to push its relatively inexpensive Pixel a smartphones closer to flagships. At a minimum, the Pixel 8a, whose parameters were leaked to the Network, will be closer to the Pixel 8 than in similar pairs of previous generations.

According to Android Authority, the Pixel 8a will have a 120Hz screen. Let's remember that the Pixel 7a panel has a frequency of 90 Hz, and the Pixel 6a was content with 60 Hz.

The screen will grow to 6.2 inches, will have a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a brightness of up to 1400 cd/sq.m.

Pixel 8a will retain the same main camera based on the 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor as the Pixel 7a. Apparently, the remaining cameras will also remain unchanged.

The heart will be the Tensor G3 SoC, which is significantly faster than previous versions of Tensor. True, the chip will have a slightly different packaging (IPoP instead of FOPLP) than that of the flagship models, but whether this will somehow affect its operation is still unclear.

Previously, there was also information that the Pixel 8a will be available in two versions: with 128 GB and 256 GB of flash memory. True, the new product was also credited with a significantly higher price than the Pixel 7a.
