Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is not for everyone. Only 35% of PlayStation gamers will be able to play the expansion

From Software has revealed the prerequisites for playing the latest Elden Ring expansion. Many players will have to do without it.

Players will be offered 30-40 hours of gameplay, during which they will face more than 10 bosses.

All of the above messages sound promising, but there is one catch. From Software has announced that in order to experience Shadow of the Erdtree content, you must defeat Mog, Lord of Blood and obtain the corresponding achievement/trophy. The boss “lives” in the Mohgwyn's Palace location, and after a successful fight you can count on the Great Rune of Mohgwyn and the Robe of the Lord of Blood.

But not everyone coped with this task. Statistics show that only 34.7% of PlayStation players defeated the Lord of Blood and received a prize for it. The result is slightly better on Steam (37.8%) and significantly lower on Xbox (22.98%). But there is no doubt that for other users this battle was difficult or they did not get to it. And if they plan to get acquainted with Shadow of the Erdtree, they better hurry – the big expansion will be released on June 21, 2024.
