It looks like the PlayStation 5 continues to pull further away from the Xbox Series. According to new data, Xbox Series sales in Europe fell by more than half year-on-year in October, down 52%.

PS5 sales, thanks to increased shipments, increased almost one and a half times: by 143%. Nintendo Switch sales dropped by 20%, but this can be attributed to the fact that the current console should retire relatively soon, giving way to a new generation.

The GamesIndustry resource, which refers to GSD data, does not provide quantitative sales figures for each of the consoles, but a total of 481,000 consoles were sold in Europe in October.

On the gaming side, 10.21 million PC and console games were sold in Europe in October, down 2.3% year-on-year. EA Sports FC 24, which could be called FIFA 24, was the best-selling game of the month. Assassin's Creed Mirage took second place, and Spider-Man 2 took third place.
