The new 2025 Mini Countryman crossover is priced at $38,900 in the US, with the entry-level model offering significantly more power than before.

The entry-level version of the new Countryman that will be sold in the US is the S ALL4. It will be sold alongside the all-electric Countryman and the John Cooper Works version. The previous generation Countryman started at $32,650.

The new Countryman S ALL4 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 241 hp. and a torque of 400 Nm, which drives all four wheels. By comparison, the previous entry-level Countryman Cooper had a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produced 134 hp. and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive are available as a $1,500 option.

For those who want a more powerful Countryman with a combustion engine, there's the 2025 John Cooper Works version. It also uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but it has been boosted to produce 312 hp. It starts at $46,900, making it $3,100 more expensive than the previous generation John Cooper Works.
