RQ agency conducted a study in which experts looked at more than 640 search results links in Yandex and Google and studied reviews of Russians for cars of Chinese brands. The study included 15 popular brands from China: Chery, Dongfeng, GAC, JAC, Tank, Jetour, Lynk & Co, Hongqi, FAW, Kaiyi, Haval, Changan, Great Wall, Geely, Omoda.
RQ agency calculated the share of negativity: Russians complain the least about Lynk & Co and Jetour, and most of all — on Great Wall and FAW. Of the most widespread «Chinese» Haval collected the fewest complaints, the most — Tank and Geely.
What exactly do Russians most often complain about when talking about their Chinese cars? Frequent breakdowns, high fuel consumption, lack of spare parts in stock, poor quality of metal and noisy suspension. The Chinese are praised for their design, rich equipment and low cost (compared to European cars).
