New engines were ordered for these aircraft
Fleet airline «Pobeda» recently replenished with one Boeing 737-800, and now the air carrier is working on returning two more airliners to service, this time Airbus.
Previously, these planes were used as donors of spare parts, but now in Russia the situation with components for aviation equipment has greatly improved (they even ordered engines for them!), this made it possible to return the airliners to routes.
Airbus A320 «Chelyabinsk» (RA-73197) was built in 2008, it was transferred from Aeroflot to «Russia» in 2019, from January 16, 2022, the car was stored at Pulkovo airport. Airbus A319 «Antiplane» (RA-73199) older — it was built in 2002. At first, the airliner was used by the American airline Frontier Airlines, then, in 2009, it became part of the fleet of the Rossiya airline. In 2014, RA-73199 was repainted in the special livery of the Zenit football club. On September 15, 2021, the liner collided with birds while landing and since then has been in storage, also in Pulkovo.
