The Yandex team has improved the capabilities of its proprietary search service. In the search for doctors, verified profiles of doctors with expanded information about specialists appeared. Users will be able to get more information about a doctor's professional experience to make it easier to choose the right doctor. In addition, the neural network in the search for doctors will analyze patient reviews and help you figure out what diagnoses or what manipulations you should contact a specific doctor for.
«Yandex Search» shows professional profiles of doctors when users are looking for a doctor in a certain specialty or are interested in a specific physician. Such profiles are generated automatically by the search engine from sources on the Internet and data from clinics. They contain information about education, experience, areas of specialization and medical practice. Now doctors have the opportunity to edit their profiles and add new data there. For example, indicate that they have improved their qualifications, published an article in a scientific journal, or defended an academic degree.
To edit information, a specialist needs to confirm his identity and authorize his profile. Yandex will mark verified doctor profiles with a blue tick. In addition, doctors with authorized profiles will be able to respond to reviews.
To make it more convenient for the user to navigate when choosing a specialist, Yandex has introduced a language model into the search for doctors. The neural network will highlight from reviews of a doctor what his patients most often write about. This is useful if you need to see a doctor for a specific reason. For example, if a user wants to treat pulpitis and is looking for a suitable dental therapist, he can immediately read whether other patients with the same problem were satisfied with the visit.
