But Sony decided to wait for some big games
The heart of the Sony PlayStation 5 Pro game console was ready about a year ago.
Sony reportedly already had final APU samples for the new console last year, and the console itself could have already been released, but the company decided to delay the launch.
One of the possible reasons — waiting for the release of some major games that will help to better demonstrate the power of the console and at the same time boost its sales. One of these games could be GTA VI, but it will not be released until the end of 2025, while the PS5 Pro is expected at the end of this year.
The new console may be presented during the summer, but there are already a lot of leaks about it. Players can expect performance gains relative to the PS5 of approximately 40-50% in raster graphics and two to four times in ray tracing.
Until the PS5 Pro comes out, let us remind you that a regular PS5 can provide 80-100 fps in modern games when FSR 3 is activated, as the first tests showed.
