BYD today introduced the flagship full-size SUV Leopard 8. All details will be revealed next week during the Beijing Auto Show, but the company told something about the new product.
The car will be built on the DMO platform. The Leopard 8 is being touted as a super hybrid, with a powertrain that will produce over 680 hp. (this is probably the power of exclusively electric motors). In this case, the consumption will be only 7.8 l/100 km. Dimensions have not been disclosed, but judging by the proportions of the body, the length is more than 5 meters.
Chinese media listed the Tank 700 Hi4-T and Land Cruiser 300 as competitors of the Leopard 8, but we can also talk about its similarities with the Defender 110.
