The Chery Exeed brand, after the April announcement, began selling its flagship model Exlantix ET, known in the Chinese market as Exeed Sterra ET. Prices range from $26,300 to $44,300.
This car is built on Chery's high-end electric platform E0X and offers both a pure electric version and an extended range EV (EREV) version. Exlantix ET has dimensions of 4955 x 1975 x 1698 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm.
The cabin has a large 15.6-inch central control screen, which includes child, pet and karaoke modes. The Exeed Sterra ET is equipped with two electric motors providing maximum power outputs of 183 kW and 230 kW. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.8 seconds, and the top speed — 210 km/h. The vehicle's battery pack uses CATL's new LFP 2.0 Shenxing battery, making it the first production vehicle to use this technology. In extremely cold conditions of -20 °C during testing in Inner Mongolia, the car was charged from 20 to 80% in just 24 minutes. At a temperature of +25 °C, the car can replenish its range by 400 km in 10 minutes. The power reserve reaches 670 km.
It is equipped with 30 sensors and two Orin-X chips from Nvidia, providing driving assistance in city and highway conditions. The vehicle supports functions such as high speed, city and parking assist.
The windows are equipped with 6mm thick double-layer laminated glass to reduce noise levels. The standard trunk volume is 546 liters and can be increased to 1835 liters with the rear seats folded down.
It is expected that the new product may appear on our market under the Exlantix brand. Presumably, the cars are already being tested on our roads before preparing for the start of sales.
