The screen will be less elongated

The Android Headlines resource shared the latest data about the flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 VI.

Renders and information were obtained from the famous insider OnLeaks, who is almost never wrong.

So, as you can see, the Sony Xperia 1 VI will have the same design as the models starting with the Xperia 1 II. In general, Sony doesn't often redesign its devices, especially globally. The new product will have a 6.5-inch screen, like its predecessor. The physical button for the camera will also remain.

The dimensions of the new product will be 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.4 mm, which differs little from the dimensions of last year’s model, but this is still important, since the Xperia 1 VI will have a less vertically elongated screen than predecessors. The aspect ratio will be about 19.5:9 versus Sony's usual 21:9 in recent years. There have also been rumors that Sony will abandon 4K resolution for the screen of the new flagship, but this has not yet been confirmed.
