Some updates are exclusive to the Galaxy S24 Ultra
Samsung has begun rolling out a major update to its Galaxy S24 series smartphones, promising to offer users «more choice».
Official changelog:
- Improved image quality when shooting bright photos with backlight;
- Clearer text display even at high magnification;
- Video quality has been greatly improved (Galaxy S24 Ultra only);
- Improvements for indoor portraits (Galaxy S24 Ultra only): brighter shadows, sharper faces;
- Food Mode Fiesta: more saturated and vibrant photos of dishes;
- Improved saturation and white balance for night photography;
- New DNG Gallery format in Expert RAW: improved photo quality;
- Ability to shoot fast-moving subjects in backlit conditions with sharper focus and sharper details (Galaxy S24 Ultra) ;
- People, flowers, and more come out better with optimized exposure and color in Photo mode.
