It has both single-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions
The Chery plant in Qingdao, China, has started production of the Fulwin T9 crossover – this is the same Tiggo 9, but with a hybrid power plant. The price has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be 175 thousand yuan (approximately 24.8 thousand dollars or 2.2 million rubles).
On the way to the assembly line, the Fulwin T9 was somewhat transformed in appearance (a body kit made of unpainted plastic appeared, a “through” light and a new spoiler appeared at the rear), and the front part, although deaf, now imitates the likeness radiator grille.
The interior has also changed: inside the Fulwin T9 now looks more like the latest Exlantix ES than the Tiggo 9. Instead of a monopanel of screens, there are now two separate displays – digital dashboard and media system. The layout of the central tunnel has also changed; a block with physical buttons has appeared on it.
Dimensions Fulwin T9 – 4820 x 1930 x 1710 mm with a wheelbase length of 2820 mm. The crossover is based on a «trolley» T2X, like Exeed RX.
The base crossover is single-wheel drive: a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine is combined with a 224-horsepower electric motor. The operation of the engines is coordinated by a 3-speed 3DHT transmission. The capacity of the traction battery is 34.4 kW·h, the range is on pure electricity – 160 km, and the maximum power reserve – 1321 km.
The top version has the same gasoline engine, but there are already two electric motors, they produce a total of 462 hp. The range of this version is smaller: 150 km on pure electricity and 1100 km in total.
