A little more than 1000 cars in total
Plant «Moskvich» in February of this year sold more than 1,050 cars, 100 of which – This is a liftback Moskvich 6, reports the agency Avtostat. The February results are even weaker than the January results, when 1,221 cars were sold. For comparison, back in November last year the figures were noticeably higher: then the plant managed to sell 2,381 cars.
Recall that the serial production of the liftback «Moskvich 6» began in September 2023, and compact crossovers «Moskvich 3» have been in production since November 2022 (in December of the same year, the electric Moskvich 3e was also launched into production). In fact, these are cars from the Chinese manufacturer JAC with modified nameplates; they are produced at the former Russian Renault plant.
In the first half of 2024, it is planned to begin serial production and sales of the mid-size crossover «Moskvich 5», and towards the end of the year they should present the D-class crossover «Moskvich 8» .
