Obsidian Entertainment's little gem Pentiment came out on PlayStation in 2022 to good reviews. Journalist Tom Warren drew attention to an important detail.
Sony seems to have made sure that the PlayStation system does not mention Xbox. Also, the welcome screen and the Xbox Game Studios sign do not appear when launching Pentiment on the Japanese company's consoles.
“Some people are surprised that Xbox games are on PS5 are published by Microsoft Corporation or Bethesda with no mention of Xbox. If you were expecting to see an Xbox Game Studios splash screen when you launched Pentiment on PS5, you too will be disappointed.”
Microsoft recently announced four games Microsoft Gaming on PlayStation – Pentiment arrived yesterday (02/22), and Hi-Fi Rush (03/19), Grounded (04/16) and Sea of Thieves (04/30) will be on Sony consoles in the next few weeks.
