70,000 cars already ordered
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun officially announced that the Xiaomi Automobile division has set a goal of shipping more than 100,000 units of Xiaomi SU7 in 2024.
Previously, Xiaomi leaders Lei Jun and Lu Weibing reported that as of April 20, the number of paid orders for Xiaomi SU7 exceeded 70,000 units. Before this, it became known that Xiaomi began delivering the car in Beijing and Shenzhen, and in the near future it will gradually open delivery throughout the country. Xiaomi SU7 production capacity has recently been increased to approximately 400 machines per day. That is, about 12,000 cars are produced per month.
Currently, Xiaomi Motors has opened 59 stores in 29 cities across the country, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Suzhou, Nanjing, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Wuxi and so on.
