Since the beginning of testing neural networks, Yandex Browser has identified more than 400 thousand fraudulent sites
The Yandex team announced the launch of a useful function for users of «Yandex Browser». Neural networks now check the security of websites in real time and help protect users from online scammers who try to steal their data through phishing sites.
Instant checking of sites helps to track down fraudulent resources, even if they have just been created and no one has visited them yet.

Built-in «Browser» neural networks check the site and, if it looks like a phishing site, launch an additional scan. Algorithms analyze hundreds of factors: for example, when the resource was created, how often it is visited, how much time is spent on it, how often they return to it, whether the site is searched for and how it is accessed — directly or via link. In this case, user data and text information from the page are not transmitted to servers. If the site is really dangerous, «Yandex Browser» warns users that it is better not to access it.
Neural networks also protect against new types of phishing that appear constantly. Recently, sites have become widespread that imitate banking applications and platforms for working with crypto exchanges that have disappeared from online stores.
