88% of Russians surveyed are considering buying a used car, and they are willing to spend an average of 556 thousand rubles. This is stated in the study by Sberstrakhovanie, which involved 13 thousand people in 37 Russian cities with a population of more than 500 thousand people.

Only 12% of respondents are thinking about buying a new car, while they are willing to pay an average of 1.6 million rubles. In general, this year Russians are ready to spend an average of 1.1 million rubles, 20% more than a year earlier.

Lada is in the lead, being considered by 17% of Russians. Next come Toyota (9%), Nissan (6%) and Renault (6%). For 67%, the main thing is the price-quality ratio.

72% of survey participants confirmed that they own at least one car.
