Of course, these are not flagships
It seems that Nubia has decided to significantly expand its range of smartphones, without releasing a single ordinary, undistinguished device.
We've already seen the Nubia Music model with a giant speaker and two headphone jacks. The company also brought several more interesting devices to MWC 2024.
For example, Nubia Focus and Focus Pro. These are two very similar smartphones that, at their low price, can offer something unusual. As you can guess from the name, these are camera-focused devices. It is the same for both models: Neovision with a resolution of 108 megapixels. As Nubia itself says, the Pro model covers five focal lengths in the range of 18-72 mm. The basic version has four focal lengths.
At the same time, on the side of the new products there is a mechanical slider for launching the camera and a separate button for shooting.
Against this background, the presence of the Unisoc T760 SoC and the HD+ screen in the base model look strange. Be that as it may, the new products also have 8/256 GB of memory, 120 Hz displays with a diagonal of 6.72 inches (Focus Pro has Full HD+ resolution) and batteries with a capacity of 5000 mAh with 33-watt charging. The base model will cost $200.
Another unusual smartphone — Nubia Neo 2. This is a gaming device, but a budget one. It costs the same $200 and is based only on the Unisoc T820, but it has mechanical triggers on the side — an exclusively gaming element, found very rarely and only on flagship gaming smartphones.
And there’s also a huge battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh with 33-watt charging. Among the rest, it is worth noting the 120 Hz screen with a diagonal of 6.72 inches, 8/256 GB of memory and an aggressive design.
