But sales only from November
The Avenir company brought a cheap foldable smartphone under the Energizer brand to MWC 2024. The new product is called Ultimate U660S and costs only 500 euros.
In fact, this is the cheapest foldable smartphone on the global market. There is also Libero Flip, which costs $420 without shares, but it is sold only in Japan, and even there there are conditions for purchase.
The cheapness of the Ultimate U660S is also due to its parameters. There are no modern platforms or even 5G support. It is based on the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, but there is 12 GB of RAM and a 256 GB storage.
It is also worth noting a 64 MP camera and a battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh. As for the screen, it is a 6.67-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution.
The smartphone will go on sale only in November, so by the time it is released it may lose its status as the cheapest device in its class.
