Hydraulic fracturing increases oil recovery and allows development in difficult conditions
State Corporation «Roscosmos», «Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering» and the company «Gazprom Neft» successfully completed tests of the first domestic fleet for hydraulic fracturing (hydraulic fracturing). Without this method of increasing oil recovery, the development of most fields is impossible. For example, hydraulic fracturing allows you to «revive» idle wells where oil or gas production by traditional methods is no longer possible, or production in difficult conditions.

Testing of the first Russian hydraulic fracturing fleet took place at the fields of «Gazprom Neft» in Western Siberia. Field tests confirmed the performance characteristics of domestic equipment and its compliance with industry standards. The first Russian hydraulic fracturing fleet received a certificate of readiness for serial production and industrial use. Serial production of such equipment should start in 2025.
