The Russian division of Kaiyi, a sponsored brand of Chery, announced the official recommended retail price for its new product — Kaiyi X7 Kunlun.
As noted by the press service, prices for the new flagship crossover start at 2,997,900 rubles. Buyers are offered a choice of 5 car colors: white, blue, grey, dark gray and purple. On the Russian market, the X7 Kunlun crossover is available with two turbo engines: 1.6 and 2 liters with a capacity of 186 hp. and 238 hp respectively. Both power units are combined with a 7DCT preselective robotic gearbox. In both cases the drive is front-wheel drive.
The cost of Kaiyi X7 Kunlun for 1.6 liters in the Comfort package is 2,997,900 rubles. Already in the basic version, the car received LED optics, a panoramic roof with electric drive, a trunk with electric drive and a contactless opening function, a 14.6-inch touchscreen multimedia display, leather seats, a «winter package», which includes heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield washer nozzles and side mirrors, as well as a 360-degree camera system and much more.
The version of the Kaiyi X7 Kunlun crossover with a 2-liter engine is presented in the maximum Luxury configuration costing 3,475,000 rubles. The Luxury package also includes automatic high beams, 20-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an advanced audio system with 8 speakers and a number of other options.
In mid-January 2024, OTTS was received for the Kaiyi X7 Kunlun model, which is produced at the Avtotor plant. in the Kaliningrad region. The start of sales of a model with a 1.6-liter engine in the Comfort package, as well as a 2-liter engine in the Luxury package, is expected in February 2024. In March 2024, the version with a 1.6 liter engine will be complemented by the maximum Luxury package, the price of which will be announced later.
