COMAC expects to certify the airliner in Europe

Despite the fact that only three COMAC C919 aircraft have entered regular routes so far, China plans to begin introducing this aircraft to potential foreign customers this year.

Apparently, COMAC C919 will become an active participant in various air shows outside the Middle Kingdom. But will any contracts be concluded based on the results of such shows – it’s unclear, since China itself needs about 1000 of these aircraft (there are already agreements for the supply of them), and there is no time for the aircraft manufacturers to scatter their efforts on foreign customers.

At the same time, COMAC wants to certify the C919 in Europe this year. But, again, it’s not a fact that this will be done before the end of the year.
