XCeed and Stonic models expected
A large Moscow dealer network plans to bring batches of new Kia cars to Russia in 2024, using a parallel import scheme. One of the representatives of the dealership confirmed this information, adding that the company is going to offer Russian customers an updated cross-version of the Ceed hatchback, known as XCeed.
XCeed was introduced in 2022, but has not yet officially arrived in Russia. According to the seller, initially only the version with a 150-horsepower gasoline engine will be available to customers. The hybrid modification, available in Europe, will not yet be offered in Russia. The car will be presented in a rich configuration, and prices are expected to exceed 2.5 million rubles.
In addition, the dealer network plans to bring to Russia a batch of compact Kia Stonic crossovers from China, where it is produced jointly with Dongfeng. The dimensions of the new product are comparable to the Kia Rio X-Line; it can be purchased with a 1.4-liter engine producing 100 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. The crossover has only front-wheel drive. The exact prices for the model have not yet been announced, but in the summer such cars were brought at a price slightly above 2.5 million rubles.
