Sony PlayStation consoles continue to be actively purchased in many parts of the world. The company managed to attract a record number of users to the platform
Sony showed up at the CES 2024 event. As it turned out, PlayStation closed 2023 very successfully.
The fact is that in December the MAU (Monthly Active Users/number of active users per month) reached 123 million users – the best result in the history of PlayStation.
It was also noted that total sales of the new generation consoles PlayStation 5 have already exceeded 50 million devices.
For comparison, in the financial report for the second quarter, Sony indicated 107 million MAU for PlayStation in September 2023, i.e. there has been a significant increase in the audience (presumably this is due to the sale of PS5).
