ASUS ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro smartphones are equipped with a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The devices use a cooling system with the Rapid-Cooling Conductor function, which removes heat directly from the SoC to the back cover.
A three-camera system is located on the rear panel. It consists of a 50-megapixel main camera Sony IMX890 with 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with free-form lenses and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x zoom.

The manufacturer reports batteries with a capacity of 5500 mAh, support for wireless charging and protection from dust and water according to the IP68 standard.
