No one is waiting for official deliveries anymore
A shortage of original spare parts for Hyundai and Kia is expected in Russia, as reported by the Mash telegram channel with reference to representatives of auto centers.
“There is nothing left in the warehouses, the waiting period is three months. In the future there will be an increase in prices. Representatives of auto centers told us that it is getting more and more difficult every day to quickly obtain the necessary part. We can’t wait for official deliveries; against this background, unofficial ones increase in price. Predictably, the price of everything is growing, including non-originals,” writes Mash.
So far, the good news is that there are no problems with “consumables” for maintenance. Certain difficulties “arose with not the most popular, but necessary pieces of hardware.”
“For example, in one of the technical centers they have been trying to get rear view cameras and steering column switches for the KIA Seltos for four months now. On a larger scale – CV joints, mufflers, etc. As a result, those who are under warranty will now have to wait significantly longer for repairs, and those who are not will also have to pay a decent amount,” added Mash.
