Keeping all the main features
Apple wants to cut the cost of its basic iPad tablet.
The company is reportedly currently working on a next-generation regular iPad, and the task — keep all the main features of the current device, but reduce the price.
The base iPad 10 currently costs $450. Yes, the 9th generation model remains on sale with a price of only $330, but, firstly, this is still far from a new model, and secondly, compared to the 10th generation, it is inferior in many ways.
To what level Apple would like to reduce the price of the basic iPad is unknown, but it is unlikely that we are talking about any significant amount. It is quite possible that the new product will be cheaper than the current generation by a maximum of $50.
Recall that the current iPad is equipped with SoC A14 Bionic and a 10.9-inch screen.
