A new batch of Volkswagen Passat sedans, which were produced in China, arrived at a dealership in the southeast of the capital.
As reported at the showroom, the cars from the previous batches had run out, so the dealer decided to order new ones. Now the price of the car is only 4.2 million rubles, although back in early May they asked for at least 5 million rubles for such cars, since they were equipped with a different engine
The Chinese Volkswagen looks very different from the European version of the sedan, while it looks more like a model for the North American market.
The front-wheel drive sedan from the Middle Kingdom is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 150 hp. and a robotic gearbox. Other versions more expensive than 5 million rubles remain on sale; they are equipped with a 186-horsepower 2-liter engine.
The equipment includes front and rear cameras, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, leather interior, start-stop system, rain and light sensor, as well as a whole set of assistance systems driver on the road.
