The top version has intelligent all-wheel drive with traction vector control
The flagship crossover Chery Tiggo 9 arrived in Russia under the name Jaecoo J8. Sales will start in April, but the configurations and their contents are already known: Jaecoo J8 will be offered to customers in three versions: Active, Supreme and Supreme-V.
Already the basic equipment of the car will be rich. In the Active — all-LED lighting with a light sensor, panoramic roof, all-round viewing system, adaptive cruise control, a full package of warm options, dual-zone climate control, audio system with 12 speakers, electrically adjustable front seats, two 12-inch screens , head-up display, keyless entry and power tailgate.
In the Supreme — interior with genuine leather trim, electrically adjustable steering column, built-in video recorder, two additional speakers, driver's knee airbag and central airbag.
The differences in the top-end Supreme-V configuration look interesting: everything is the same as in the Supreme version, but also intelligent all-wheel drive with traction vector control, the ability to disable the driveshaft and two clutches on the rear axle shafts.
Regardless of the configuration, there will be a 2-liter gasoline engine with 249 hp, a 7-speed «robot» with two clutches and a CDC system with adjustable shock absorbers. The price of Jaecoo J8 has not yet been announced, but the brand is going to compete with Geely Monjaro (that is, the price will be 4–5 million rubles).
