The SUV has become even more off-road due to improvements made by the Russian branch of Arctic Trucks
Resource «Chinese cars» published a review of the Tank 300 SUV, which was worked on by the Russian studio Arctic Trucks. It must be said right away that the car, as in the photo, can be bought by anyone, the price – 5.3 million rubles.
The modified version is called Tank 300 AT35. Its ground clearance was increased, and significantly: instead of the standard 224 mm under the rear axle – 272 mm, and in front – 300 mm. There is steel protection at the bottom.
The ground clearance was increased largely due to a different suspension (Arctic Trucks installed adjustable shock absorbers with nine settings for different road conditions and vehicle loads), but also slightly due to tires: standard 265/65 tires were replaced with 315/70 tires. Moreover, the tires are Chinese – Hankang Winter Activa. The combination of these measures made it possible to increase the approach angle by 7°, the departure angle – at 8°.

According to the reviewer of “Chinese cars,” the 100 kg weight gain had virtually no effect on the dynamics. But the speedometer was recalibrated for larger tires.
