The Avatr brand was founded in 2018, with Huawei as the main supplier. The Avatr line includes the Avatr 11 crossover and the Avatr 12 hatchback.
A few days before the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Avatr Technology President Chen Zhuo unveiled the 2024 Avatr 11 SUV. He added that both Avatr models won the 2024 Reddot Design Award.
According to the company, Avatr 11 SUV owners have driven more than 50 million kilometers using the NOA autopilot system, accounting for 24% of the total mileage. Owners have used smart parking more than 5 million times, an average of more than 10,000 per day.
Avatr 11 is equipped with 34 sensors and Huawei ADS 2.0 system for intelligent driving, as well as three lidars. The interior features a combination of nappa leather and suede. The 15.6-inch central control screen supports split-screen functionality and can display navigation, games and videos. Voice commands are supported. The LCD instrument panel measures 10.25 inches. Avatr President Chen Zhuo also hinted at a new audio system upgrade that took a year to complete.
Huawei's DriveONE transmission allows the use of one or two motors with power from 230 to 425 kW, with torque from 370 to 650 Nm. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.9–6.6 seconds.
