The release of the boxed version of Baldur's Gate 3 is expected in 2024, but exactly when is unknown. But there is a small problem – the developers cannot fit such a large role-playing game on the announced three-disc version for Xbox.
The size of the game forced the developers to think about how to cram all the additions and patches into the game. Baldur's Gate 3 is so huge that it probably wouldn't fit on three discs. So Larian publishing boss Michael Dawes tweeted that the Xbox version will likely be a four-disc release. What does this mean for gamers? Only that during the installation process you will have to change disks.
