The Bentley Batur convertible with a 6-liter W12 is presented – the most expensive car in the history of the brand

Bentley Motors introduced the ultra-luxurious Batur convertible. It is the brand's most expensive model to date and one of the most powerful fuel convertibles ever built in the UK.

This new convertible is the third model series from Bentley Mulliner's custom car division, following the Batur hardtop coupe and Bacalar Barchetta. Unlike the Bacalar, the Batur convertible is equipped with a retractable roof. A total of 16 copies will be produced. Each of them can be customized to the owner's requirements, and the price will exceed 2 million pounds sterling.

Bentley says customers «are only limited by their imagination» when designing your cars. They can choose colors and materials on “virtually any surface,” including unlimited paint colors, hand-drawn graphics, different types of metal body trim and even a gradient effect for the front grille. Customers can choose the materials used for the convertible top, and 3D printed rose gold trim is available for the interior of the cabin.

The new car is based on the Continental GT and will be one of the last models to be powered by Bentley's 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine, which will be discontinued this summer. The convertible version of the Batur, like the previously released hardtop version, can produce 750 hp. and torque 1000 N·m.

It will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, like the coupe, and have a top speed of 336 km/h. The transmission will be paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a sports exhaust system.
