It will be shown next week
The first photos and new details have appeared about the hardcore M-Hunter SUV from Dongfeng, which will be shown next week at the Beijing Auto Show.
Price expected to be over $138,000. The M-Hunter will be equipped with a variety of military-grade technologies and aircraft-grade carbon fiber materials. The goal is to produce a production SUV for sale to private collectors of extreme performance vehicles.
Judging by the photographs, the M-Hunter is devoid of the usual doors and is presented as a safety cage on wheels. Inside there are two bucket-shaped sports seats, which should be equipped with electrical adjustment. There are no rear seats, space is reserved for two spare off-road wheels.
M-Hunter will receive X-shaped LED daytime running lights, as well as an illuminated M brand logo. The front bumper will receive a steel protective strip and two red tow hooks. Under the plate is the T-Max EW12500 winch, designed for loads up to 5700 kg. Roof rack and LED spotlights are installed.
To reduce weight and increase strength, the M-Hunter has a tubular body structure. At the rear there are narrow taillights, another illuminated brand logo and another red tow hook.
It is currently unclear whether the M-Hunter will be all-electric or a hybrid.
