During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko said that the fleet of the company «Aurora» will be replenished by 18 aircraft and 21 helicopters.
«We intend to purchase new cars, 18 aircraft, 21 helicopters. We set a course for acquiring Russian aviation. Previously, in "Aurora" there were foreign cars. Unfortunately, our industry is slightly delaying the planes, but we expect that this problem will be solved in the near future», — he said.
He added that with the current fleet, the frequency of flights has doubled and passenger traffic has increased by 60%.
Previously, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that in three years the single Far Eastern company «Aurora» transported more than 800 thousand people at preferential rates.
Today the company's fleet numbers 145 aircraft.
