Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida shared information about the PC version of the game at the PAX East event.
The game has already gained popularity on the PlayStation 5, offering PC gamers the best experience in terms of graphics, but under one condition – it must have really productive hardware.
Yoshida said that the PC version has much higher graphics performance and better image quality, provided the player has a more powerful device. The developers are working on optimizations to achieve smoothness above 100 fps even on ultra-wide monitors.
It's worth noting that the PS5 version had problems with image quality: at some points (when exploring large areas) it dropped to 720p in performance mode, not reaching 60 FPS .
The PC version is also announced to include many options to customize graphics settings. Although the full hardware requirements are unknown at this time, players will have the opportunity to test the game before purchasing thanks to a special demo. Square Enix is already finishing the optimization of the game.
