Rumor: Sega will update an old hit. The classic game will be “transplanted” to Unreal Engine 5

Well-known tipster Midori has revealed that Sega is working on an update to the classic Sonic adventure called Sonic Heroes.

The game was released in 2003 and is considered one of the best in the series. In Sonic Heroes, players can control one of four teams, each consisting of three characters with unique abilities. It is this variety and the ability to change characters during the game that brought popularity and recognition among players.

It is expected that the remake will not only update the graphics, but also bring the gameplay up to modern standards, using capabilities of the Unreal Engine 5. Although Sega has not officially confirmed the information, the veracity of the messages has been confirmed by the famous informant Midori.

If this turns out to be true, then the Sonic Heroes remake has every chance of becoming another hit of the company.
