All currently available Snapdragon X platforms have either a 12-core or 10-core CPU. Perhaps they will be joined by a more affordable eight-core model in the near future.

Insider Roland Quandt reports that there is a Snapdragon X Plus X1P-39-100 codenamed Purwa. It just has eight CPU cores. Its other parameters are unknown, but the current 10-core Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 has the same GPU and the same NPU as the older 12-core Snapdragon X Elite.

The new platform will allow manufacturers to create more affordable Copilot+ class PCs, whereas now they start at a minimum of $1000.

Roland Quandt completely declassified the GoPro 9 Black and GoPro 10 Black cameras before their announcement and named their exact cost, and also published accurate renders of the Nokia G21, Xiaomi Mi A3, Xiaomi Mi 9T , Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and many other smartphones.
