The new Xiaomi smartwatch with model number M2312W1 has been certified. It resembles the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro with a round dial and a crown on the side.
A distinctive feature of the M2312W1 is eSIM support. This will allow the watch to independently connect to cellular networks, make calls and send text messages without the need to connect a smartphone. The certification also confirms compatibility with China Mobile and China Unicom, China's two largest network operators.
Last month, the M2312W1 also received 3C certification in China, confirming support for 10W charging.
