The Chinese are eagerly buying up Haval SUVs: in January 2024, Haval sales increased by 50%, and sales of Haval hybrids almost quadrupled

But there are still few “connected” Havals in the brand’s sales structure

Great Wall Motor has revealed sales statistics for its cars in January of this year. Over the past month, the company sold 104  030 cars – 69% more than in January 2023. Foreign sales of Great Wall cars last month amounted to 26 374 cars – growth of 64.9% in annual terms.

The statistics for individual brands look interesting. In January 2024, 59 103 Haval cars were sold – 50.8% more than in January 2023. Sales of Haval SUVs «on new energy» went up sharply – an increase of 276.3%. True, in absolute numbers there are still few of them – total 6005 units.

Wey brand car sales soared 217.3%, but that was only 3,351 vehicles. Sales of Tank brand cars amounted to 20  067 units – there is an increase of 239.3%.
