The price of the new Atlas in Kazakhstan is from 2.67 million rubles
According to Motor, official sales of the new generation Geely Atlas (aka Boyue L, aka Atlas L, aka Starray) have started in Kazakhstan. The crossover is offered with two engines and in three trim levels, prices range from 13.99 to 14.99 million tenge (2.67–2.86 million rubles at the current exchange rate). For comparison, the already middle-aged Geely Atlas Pro in Russia is sold for 2.72–3.35 million rubles (excluding direct discounts).
The base engine is a 1.5-liter with 174 hp, the top engine is a 2-liter with 218 hp. In both cases, a 7-speed robotic transmission with two clutches is used, but there is no all-wheel drive.
The base Atlas accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and has a top speed of 190 km/h. The top one accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds, and the top speed is already 215 km/h. Claimed consumption is 6.8 and 7.4 l/100 km, respectively.
The new Atlas is offered in Kazakhstan in Comfort, Premium and Flagship trim levels. Everything in the base is quite modest: only front airbags, regular cruise control and single-zone climate control. Side airbags and adaptive control are in the Premium version, and in the top version there is a full set of airbags (including curtains), dual-zone climate control, a projection screen, front seats not only heated, but also ventilated. For 100 thousand rubles you can purchase an Exclusive package: it will not add new equipment, but the crossover will have a two-tone design (with a black roof), 20-inch wheels and an illuminated Geely emblem on the front.
After the appearance of the new Atlas in Kazakhstan, it is expected to debut in Russia, as was the case with the new Emgrand sedan.
