She has a 10-core CPU
The single-chip Exynos 2400 system performs very well in tests that have already leaked online, sometimes even outperforming the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. And Samsung has only now revealed all the details about this platform.
So, as we knew before, the Exynos 2400 features a 10-core CPU, while most modern SoCs have eight processor cores. Thus, for the first time in a long time, all three major flagship platforms on the market — Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Exynos 2400 and Dimensity 9300 — have significantly different CPU configurations.
Returning to Samsung's brainchild, the platform has one Cortex-X4 super core with a frequency of 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2.9 GHz, three of the same cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A520 with a frequency of 2 GHz.
GPU Xclipse 940 also deserves attention. It is based on the RDNA 3 architecture versus the RDNA 2 of the Xclipse 930 in the Exynos 2200. Samsung does not disclose this data, but we previously heard that the number of stream processors has not changed, but the frequency has almost doubled. Actually, the performance of the Exynos 2400 in a number of games is higher than that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is definitely impressive.
You can also highlight the Samsung 4LPP+ technical process, support for LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0, an NPU unit, which is designated as 2-GNPU+2-SNPU, a 5G modem with data transfer speeds up to 12.1 Gbps, support for 320-megapixel cameras, 8K/60fps video decoding and 8K/30fps encoding, and support for screens up to 4K/120fps.
