This model will become serial in 2027
Porsche has begun road testing of the future SUV, known as the K1. This all-electric car will replace the Cayenne in 2027 and will compete with the Range Rover EV and Ferrari Purosangue.
The car is posing in spy shots for the first time. Photographers who managed to capture the car describe it as long, low and wide. And this is not surprising, because the Porsche K1 will have three rows of seats. While the car is hidden under camouflage, you can’t say much about it. If the production model's optics remain as shown in the photo, they will be noticeably different from the two-tier optics of the electric Macan.
Porsche K1 will be built on a completely new SSP Sport architecture — an advanced version of the core SSP platform that will be used by other VW Group brands. Porsche confirmed the existence of the K1 project last year with a teaser image of the SUV, but did not provide further details at the time.
Based on the fact that the current top-end Taycan Turbo GT produces 1093 hp, the power of the top-end version of the Porsche K1 will exceed 1000 hp, and based on the current prices for the Cayenne (Turbo E-Hybrid costs in the USA 147 thousand dollars), the serial version of the car shown in the photo will cost more than 200 thousand dollars.
