Lada Vesta and Lada Granta have a problem with the gearbox – the rear one does not turn off

AvtoVAZ dealers received instructions number 26-24 to conduct a new service campaign for Lada Granta and Vesta cars. This time the problem is with the gearbox. In the document it is described as «reverse gear does not turn off and fifth gear does not engage».

Service center specialists will check the operation of the manual transmission and, if a defect is identified, they will replace the gear shift rod head free of charge.

Recall that last week AvtoVAZ announced a recall campaign for the Lada Granta Sport: the car discovered a problem with the camber of the rear wheels.
