But revenue did not grow very much
The Huawei company, despite all the sanctions, was able to more than double its net profit by the end of 2023.
The company stated that net profit for the year amounted to $12 billion — this is the highest figure in the last five years.
Huawei also says that revenue in all segments of its business grew last year. For example, the consumer electronics division showed growth of 17.3%.
Huawei also said its HarmonyOS operating system is now installed on more than 800 million devices, up from about 330 million during the same period last year.
In terms of overall revenue, Huawei earned more than $90 billion, up 9.6%.
