With three power units, but without all-wheel drive
Autocar India, citing its sources, reports that Kia is preparing a new crossover – it will be called Clavis. The official premiere will take place either at the end of 2024 or at the beginning of 2025.
The car is being created for the local market, but Clavis will probably be sold not only in India. In the Kia lineup, the Clavis will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos models, and its length is likely to be 4 meters.
There will be no all-wheel drive, but there will be different power plants: with internal combustion engines, purely electric, and hybrid. First, the traditional version with an internal combustion engine will hit the market, then the version with an electric power plant will debut.
Clavis will receive an angular, emphatically off-road design – it will most likely have something in common with the flagship Kia Telluride.
