Charging power will not increase either
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 smartphone will please you with its reduced weight and thickness, but, apparently, it will not please you with its autonomy. The battery of the new product will remain unchanged.
Insider Ice Universe says that Fold6 received a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh, like the Fold5. Actually, the same as Fold4 and Fold3. And the Fold2, let us recall, had a battery even a little larger — 4500 mA·h
Charging will also not change and will remain 25-watt. Considering the high cost of the smartphone, this can hardly be called an advantage.
Autonomy may become a little better due to the new platform, but this is not a fact. At the same time, it’s still worth keeping in mind that Fold6 will be noticeably thinner and lighter than Fold5, and under such conditions, keeping the battery unchanged looks like a normal solution.
Recall that Ice Universe also confirmed that Samsung is working on the Fold6 Ultra model. Ice Universe was the first to accurately talk about the new trend for smartphones with waterfall screens, about the bangs in the iPhone X, about the new iPhone 14 design and Samsung's 200-megapixel image sensor.
